Neil Chesen, M.D.
Dr. Neil Chesen, a board certified Ophthalmologist, has been in private practice in the Reading area for 20 years. He has personally performed thousands of laser vision correction procedures as well as thousands of eye surgeries for other medical conditions such as cataracts. He is also board certified in Internal Medicine, one of only 40 physicians in the country with this double board certification.
Dr. Chesen received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and his doctor of medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Chesen completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical College in Philadelphia. His residency in Ophthalmology was completed at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Glenn S. Corbin, OD
Dr. Corbin received a B.A. from Hofstra University in New York and B.S. and O.D. degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He serves on the Adjunct Faculty of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is a Consulting Medical Staff member at HealthSouth Reading Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Corbin is nationally board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He enjoys primary eye care, with special interest in contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Corbin serves on the Editorial Review Board for the Review of Optometry. He serves as a Principal Investigator for numerous pharmaceutical companies in conducting clinical trials to test new medications and devices. Dr. Corbin is recognized for his lectures, both locally and nationally, as well as his publications. He is dedicated to research, education and excellence in clinical care.
Kerry J. Burrell, OD
Dr. Burrell earned a B.A. in Philosophy from University of Scranton in Scranton, PA, and later, B.S. and O.D. degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Burrell spent several years practicing comprehensive eye care in the Philadelphia area. He enjoys primary eye care with special interest in contact lenses and treating ocular disease.
Awarded clinical honors in the Pediatric/Binocular Vision service at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Dr. Burrell brings additional expertise in the area of children’s vision care. He is nationally Board Certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Heidi L. Sensenig, OD
Dr. Sensenig earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College, graduating Cum Laude. She earned the Hershey Medical Center Neuro-Rehabilitation Teamwork Award during her tenure as an OT.
After practicing as an Occupational Therapist for several years, Dr. Sensenig went on to earn her B.S. in Visual Science, M.S. in Low Vision Rehabilitation and O.D. degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. She graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Sensenig has expertise in providing primary eye care, pediatric eye care, low vision rehabilitation and special interest in neuro-ophthalmic and binocular vision disorders.
